Save a mix

Post by jezzy1975 » Sat Apr 13, 2013 8:05 am

Hi. I have been trying to save my mix. But all I end up with is a track listing used during the mix but the tracks are not mixed. What am I doing wrong? Cheers.

Hmmm. If you are mixing then you must be in mix mode and not play mode. Off the top if my head:
- turn mix record on
- do your mix
- turn mix record off; agree to save your mix
- plug pmd into pc with editor running
- copy (drag/drop) your mix from device to editor
- load mix fron editor library and play

Your music library and files on disk must match what they were when yo added the music to your pmd. Uf you have moved, renamed or deleted tracks in your mix on your pc they will not be found when playing back your mix.

Are you perhaps trying to play back your mix on the pmd? Havent tried but not sure if you can do that
Never experiment with drugs.... you might waste them

I can confirm that the mix will not "play back" on the Pacemaker Device.

When saving a mix the tracks used are stored in the mix-folder on the device in the order they were mixed, usefull for setting up a set for later, but you still have to mix them live on the device later on.

When connecting the PMD to a pc/mac and transfer the mix, the way the tracks where mixed will show up in the editor as Sox explained, for you to export as a single file.
