Car charger

Anyone uses one succesfully ?
If I try the charger for my iphone 4s then the PMD power level goes from 100 to 0 % in 100 seconds, at least it is what it shows. So I am not using it.
Any reference for a charger that works is appreciated.

I have USB port in my car sound system so I just use that...The micro USB thing is fairly common though, old Motorola car chargers use it I think.
