Cant transfer music to pacemaker device.

Post by Samuel Jamieson »

I open the editor and plug the pacemaker into the usb and it wont let me transfer music to the devise, the device shows up as an external harddrive no problem. The editor lets me eject the device but that seems to be all. any ideas please? Thanks

Are you doing it correctly? In the editor you have to drag files from the editor library and drop them into the device library

Hey Samuel.
I was having the same problem, i tried uninstalling the editor and reinstalling it. no hope. all sorts of combinations of having the device on then off, editor open and closed. no hope. I then moved onto the firmware, to find it was only optional on PC. I had lost hope. One last ditch for life was when i stumbled upon a NEWER version of the editor here http://pacemakerdevice.org/?page_id=22 under the title 'Pacemaker Editor Downloads', the new software replaced the old (although i must admit i left no room for error and removed the old editor and had the device unpluged) and voila IT WORKED.
Hope this helped.
Best wishes, Hoax999

It good of you to take the time to reply, but after 17 months of waiting, I think the OP has probably given up by now (or hopefully resolved it).
Maybe your info could help another though, so thanks
